Job Overview:
The Staff RN is a licensed professional responsible for providing safe, high-quality care to a designated group of patients within a specified timeframe. This role utilizes the nursing process as the foundation for clinical practice, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Assigned to any patient care area within the organization.

Varies based on assigned tour of duty.

Manager/Supervisor
Prerequisites:
- BSN preferred
- Current RN license to practice in the state of Washington
- Successful completion of a graduate nurse residency program or six months of RN experience
- AHA BLS certification for healthcare providers required
Preferred Qualifications for Advancement to Charge Nurse Role:
- BSN degree
- Certification in a relevant specialty
- Minimum of two years of clinical nursing and leadership experience in the designated area
- Unit-specific requirements (refer to addendum)
General Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and apply clinical judgment, innovation, and systems thinking
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) in English
- Adheres to professional dress code
- Effective interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, community-centered approach to meet the needs of diverse and vulnerable populations
- Ability to work with patients of all age groups, considering their physical and emotional development
- Commitment to a patient-centered, caring environment, with outstanding customer service skills
- Practices within the ANA Standards and Nurse Practice Act
- Proficient in electronic communication and documentation systems, including order entry and email
