As a Psychiatry Nurse at Cincinnati Children’s, you will:

Build meaningful relationships with patients and families through relationship-based care

Provide direct care in a milieu setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver top-notch care

Work in a state-of-the-art mental health facility that opened in October 2023

Enhance your psychiatric nursing skills, including therapeutic communication and medical/surgical skills

Lead and co-lead psychiatric educational groups to promote therapeutic outcomes

Qualifications:
Required:
-
Associate’s degree or diploma in nursing from an ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA accredited institution
-
If hired without a BSN or MSN, you must enroll in a BSN or MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete it within 5 years
-
Active Ohio RN license (additional state licensure may be required)

Foreign graduates must have their license validated through CGFNS per Ohio Board of Nursing code for Foreign Graduates
Preferred:

BSN or MSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution

Ability to pass a physical agility test and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Certification Course
