Job Summary & Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with state and specialty standards. Collaborating with medical providers and healthcare teams, you will provide compassionate, individualized care while advocating for patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess & Manage Pain: Perform regular pain assessments and implement effective pain management strategies.

Administer & Monitor Care: Execute physician-ordered procedures and document all patient care in a timely, accurate manner.

Deliver Exceptional Care: Respond promptly to patient needs, anticipating and addressing concerns proactively.

Educate & Support Patients: Explain conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care to patients and caregivers in an easy-to-understand way.

Promote Health & Prevention: Guide patients on non-medicinal strategies like healthy lifestyle habits, disease prevention, and self-care.
Required Qualifications:

Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN)

Education: Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Basic Life Support (BLS) – Upon hire

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Within 90 days

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Within 90 days

Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – Within 1 year

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Within 1 year
