Responsibilities

Organize and prioritize patient care, ensuring timely delivery and continuous evaluation.

Apply your nursing education and experience to provide care using the nursing process, in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.

Collaborate with the nursing team to enhance the quality of care, improve patient experiences, and drive cost reductions.

Create a supportive learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and healthcare team members.

Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health, respecting diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or obtained within five years from the initial date of hire. Registered Nurses with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021, may be considered for this requirement in lieu of an education agreement.

Advanced degrees in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) are preferred.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL).

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Advanced certifications such as ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP, as required by the facility or department.

Certification in a specialty area is preferred.

At least one year of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
