About the Job
We are seeking a skilled clinician dedicated to continuously expanding their knowledge and expertise. This role involves delivering effective, direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team, managing a diverse range of complex cases. The ideal candidate actively seeks and provides constructive feedback to enhance clinical practice. While assuming an initial leadership role, they also welcome mentorship to further develop their leadership skills.

This position aligns with the ANA 2015 Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, Third Edition, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements (2015), and the UVA Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Compensation:
Hourly rate ranges from $39.90 to $53.00.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required within five years of hire.

  • At least one year of relevant nursing experience.

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires prolonged standing, frequent bending and stooping, extensive reaching (including overhead), and repetitive motions such as typing. Strong communication, auditory, and visual skills are essential. Candidates must have attention to detail and the ability to write legibly. The position may involve lifting, pushing, or pulling between 50 to 100 pounds and potential exposure to noise, radiation, radioactive materials, blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
