Responsibilities:

  • Assess the needs of walk-in and phone-in patients and refer them to the appropriate services or resources.

  • Coordinate and prioritize in-patient bed reservations and placements, ensuring a smooth admission process to the correct level of care.

  • Advise, inform, and assist physicians and their offices before and during patient hospitalization, ensuring they understand hospital policies and procedures related to their patient’s care.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State.

  • A BSN or Master’s degree in a health-related field is preferred.

  • Current BCLS certification upon hire and must maintain certification.

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Inpatient Psychiatric Care and two (2) years of experience in coordinating level of care assessments.
