Responsibilities:

Assess the needs of walk-in and phone-in patients and refer them to the appropriate services or resources.
Coordinate and prioritize in-patient bed reservations and placements, ensuring a smooth admission process to the correct level of care.
Advise, inform, and assist physicians and their offices before and during patient hospitalization, ensuring they understand hospital policies and procedures related to their patient’s care.

Qualifications:

Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State.
A BSN or Master’s degree in a health-related field is preferred.
Current BCLS certification upon hire and must maintain certification.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Inpatient Psychiatric Care and two (2) years of experience in coordinating level of care assessments.
