Position Summary
We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time roles at a correctional facility located in Sacramento, CA. Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care and develop individualized nursing care plans in accordance with physician directives and clinical protocols

Administer medications, wound care, immunizations, and other prescribed treatments

Collect and label specimens for laboratory testing as needed

Accurately and thoroughly document nursing assessments, treatments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records

Monitor the physical and mental well-being of patients and respond to emergent or deteriorating conditions

Communicate effectively with physicians, mental health professionals, and other interdisciplinary team members

Provide patient education regarding chronic disease management, medication adherence, and general health practices

Uphold facility safety procedures and infection control standards

Maintain a secure and respectful working relationship with incarcerated individuals
Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience; prior experience in correctional or institutional healthcare is preferred

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an accredited provider

Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and facility clearance process

Strong communication, clinical judgment, and critical thinking skills

Comfortable working in a secure and structured environment
