Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Supervising Pharmacist, the Staff Pharmacist will:

Supervise daily non-sterile and sterile compounding operations to ensure full compliance with SOPs, USP <795>/<797>/<800>, FDA, DEA, and other applicable regulations.

Manage and provide training for the compounding team, including onboarding new technicians and ensuring adherence to all operational procedures.

Review and approve formula records and quality control data; verify labels for accuracy and release finished compounded products for production.

Coordinate daily compounding schedules in collaboration with the Buyer/Planner to maintain workflow efficiency.

Support and uphold company policies, cGMP guidelines, and quality assurance standards.

Participate in QA/QC functions related to compounding, including in-process checks, evaluations of technique, and product recalls as necessary.

Manage controlled substance protocols in accordance with federal and state laws (if applicable).

Maintain accurate documentation for all drug and compounding activities to ensure regulatory compliance.

Oversee inventory levels of active/inactive pharmaceutical ingredients; manage expired or unused chemicals through appropriate waste disposal protocols.

Ensure the cleanliness and regulatory compliance of compounding areas, including supervision of cleaning, sanitization, and environmental monitoring.

Contribute to special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Duties:

Directly oversee compounding pharmacy technicians and support staff.

Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to ensure excellence in compounding practices.
Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree

Active and unrestricted Florida Registered Pharmacist license

Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in non-sterile and sterile compounding (preferred)
