Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated, customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will lead the pharmacy team during assigned shifts, oversee daily operations, and ensure the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and patient care are met. Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervision & Leadership

    • Direct and supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff during your shift.

    • Foster a positive team culture that prioritizes efficiency, accuracy, and patient satisfaction.

    • Actively build rapport with customers and proactively introduce available services.

  • Prescription Fulfillment

    • Receive and verify prescription orders.

    • Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system.

    • Perform claims adjudication, troubleshoot third-party insurance issues, and ensure timely billing resolution.

    • Prepare medications for dispensing (e.g., pill counting, mixing, labeling).

  • Patient Services

    • Provide personalized counseling to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and proper administration.

    • Deliver concierge-level customer service, addressing patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.

    • Administer immunizations in accordance with South Carolina Board of Pharmacy guidelines.

  • Clinical and Administrative Duties

    • Complete clinical care services via platforms such as OutcomesMTM, EQUIPP, and other tools.

    • Assist with inventory management tasks, including order reviews, restocking, returns, and audits.

    • Answer telephone inquiries from patients and healthcare providers.

    • Support and complete special projects based on pharmacy needs.


Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of South Carolina

  • Valid Immunization Certification

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Retail Pharmacist

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume, customer-facing environment

  • Job Type: Part-Time

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts (flexible scheduling available)

  • Work Environment: In-person, community retail pharmacy
