Position Overview: Rehabilitation Medicine Physician (PM&R)
Key Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Diagnosis & Treatment: Evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal and pain-related conditions, designing personalized rehabilitation programs to promote optimal recovery and overall well-being.

Direct Patient Care: Prescribe appropriate medications, administer therapeutic injections, and provide expert recommendations on physical therapy, exercise, and nutritional strategies to support healing.

Clinical Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in compliance with medical standards, organizational protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.

Patient Education & Communication: Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery expectations to patients, equipping them with the knowledge and resources necessary to support their rehabilitation journey.
Qualifications:

Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Licensure: Must hold an active and unrestricted New York State Medical License.

Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience practicing as a PM&R physician, with a strong background in managing motor vehicle accident and work-related injury cases.

Knowledge Base: Expertise in No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation laws and regulations, with a clear understanding of their application in clinical practice.
