We’re seeking a Reimbursement Specialist I to join our mission-driven team and help ensure timely and accurate copay reimbursement processing while supporting billing excellence.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in pharmacy billing or reimbursement who are looking to grow in a collaborative, tech-enabled healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor claims activity and ensure timely and accurate submissions

Verify and update patient billing information in pharmacy software

Process manufacturer copay assistance reimbursements according to SOPs

Respond to inquiries or complaints related to reimbursement or billing

Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve claim issues

Maintain thorough documentation of prescriptions, insurance, and billing records
-
Assist with patient outreach related to outstanding balances and payment options
-
Ensure all actions comply with federal/state laws and Lumicera’s ethical standards

Participate in relevant reimbursement/billing-related meetings or conferences

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
-
Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred
-
Active pharmacy technician license or trainee license strongly preferred in states requiring licensure

Experience with pharmacy billing, clinical claims, health plan systems, or claims auditing preferred

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and compliance awareness
-
Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively in a remote team setting
