About the Role
Insight Global’s client is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to deliver large-scale CI/CD and container orchestration services across hybrid cloud environments. You will act as the technical product owner for key DevSecOps tools—including CloudBees, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Snyk—ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
The engineer will define and implement technical roadmaps, oversee EKS cluster architecture, and collaborate closely with security and compliance teams to meet FISMA Moderate and federal regulatory standards. This role involves working with ADOs and CMS stakeholders, gathering feedback, supporting enablement resources, and representing DevSecOps services in customer and governance meetings. A strong emphasis is placed on automation, standardization, and self-service capabilities for developers.
Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience managing large-scale hybrid cloud environments in the federal sector

Proficiency in Amazon EKS for deploying and managing containerized workloads

Extensive experience with CloudBees Core (CI/CD), JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and Snyk

Experience using GitHub for source code management and workflow automation

Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with CMS or other large federal agencies

Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

Knowledge of container security and software supply chain risk management

Agile certification or experience working in a product-focused Agile environment
