Role Overview

As a Remote Mental Health Therapist, you will provide teletherapy to students and families within partner school districts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver evidence-based teletherapy to students and families.

  • Collaborate with school counselors and relevant providers.

  • Build trusted relationships with students and families.

  • Provide psychoeducation and guidance to parents and caregivers.

  • Participate in case consultations and team discussions.

  • Contribute to the development of Daybreak Health’s clinical programs.

  • Attend weekly 1:1 and group supervision sessions.


Requirements

  • Active Associate clinical license in North Carolina (LCMHCA only).

  • Experience delivering care to school-aged children and families via telehealth.

  • Strong technology skills and familiarity with EHR systems.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

  • Availability during peak hours (Mon–Fri, 3–8 PM).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Spanish.

  • Experience with CBT, DBT, or similar modalities.

  • Previous school-based or youth-focused clinical experience.
