About the Job
Essential Responsibilities:
In this initial year of supervised residency training (internship year), the Resident I will work toward achieving the educational objectives and goals outlined for their specialty.
The Resident I will take an active role in patient care and gradually take on greater responsibilities as they progress in clinical experience and medical knowledge.
Throughout their training, the Resident I will develop the specialized skills required for their discipline, while consistently upholding the highest standards for patient safety and quality of care.
Basic Qualifications:

Must have successfully applied and matched to a Kaiser Permanente Northern California (KPNC) residency program through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) or the Central Application Service for Podiatric Residencies (CASPR).

Alternatively, the applicant may have been selected for an open, unfilled residency position post-match.

A medical or podiatric degree (MD, DO, or DPM) must be obtained prior to the start of the residency program.
