Our parent company, International Meal Company (IMC), oversees more than 380 casual and quick-service restaurants across Brazil, the Caribbean, and Mexico, with a strong presence in airports, shopping malls, and major highways.

Position Description

  • Lead front-of-house restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain the highest quality food and beverage standards, ensuring all products meet specifications.
  • Uphold productivity, efficiency, and sanitation standards while fostering a well-trained team.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and awareness to enhance guest experience and satisfaction.
  • Oversee nightly cash-outs, staff closing duties, and venue walk-throughs.
  • Mentor, coach, and conduct performance appraisals for team members, ensuring their professional growth.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules based on forecasted business volume.
  • Maintain labor controls by efficiently assigning duties to team members.
  • Assess staffing needs and communicate recommendations to department leadership.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new team members.
  • Ensure excellence in service, production, and quality control.
  • Engage with guests to foster satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor inventory levels, notify leadership of shortages, and place orders to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates and expectations.
  • Stay informed about company products and events, effectively communicating with guests and building rapport.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership, executing tasks with urgency.
  • Adhere to company policies on responsible alcohol service.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols, reporting any incidents as necessary.
  • During state or national emergencies, ensure the venue remains operational unless directed otherwise by corporate management or local authorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and guidelines outlined in the Staff Handbook.

Requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume food and beverage setting in a supervisory role or equivalent education/experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with other departments and external contacts.
  • Capable of managing a fast-paced workload and multitasking with minimal supervision.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Education & Certifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • Food safety and alcohol awareness certifications required as per local regulations (to be obtained before employment begins)
