About the Role
Big Cedar Lodge is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-quality dining environment. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for hospitality to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities – Restaurant Manager
As a Restaurant Manager at Big Cedar Lodge, you will:

Deliver world-class guest service, ensuring every visitor has a memorable dining experience.

Lead front-of-house operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff.

Conduct daily meetings and staff huddles to align goals and expectations.

Oversee dining room, bar service, guest check-in, menu planning, and event coordination.

Manage inventory control, ordering, and food and beverage cost management.

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

Prepare operational reports, staffing schedules, and financial records.

Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager to plan, evaluate, and optimize operations.

Monitor food quality, service standards, and guest satisfaction levels.

Support administrative functions including budgeting, purchasing, and staff payroll.

Handle special situations related to inventory, equipment, and personnel as needed.
Qualifications & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management preferred.

2–3 years of restaurant leadership experience or equivalent education & training.

Experience in food & beverage operations; fine dining experience preferred.

Knowledge of inventory management, staff scheduling, and budgeting.

Food safety & alcohol service certifications required (Manager Food Handler, Beverage Service).

Strong administrative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
