Job Summary

Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin is seeking a Restaurant Server who is passionate about hospitality, guest service, and delivering memorable dining experiences. As part of our Food & Beverage team, you will represent our restaurants and bars, providing exceptional table service, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest enjoys a warm and welcoming experience. Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate with the kitchen and bar teams.

• Serve meals, snacks, and drinks in a timely and professional manner.

• Assist with bussing tables, refilling drinks, and replenishing utensils.

• Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of work areas at all times.

• Support in multiple Food & Beverage outlets including:

  • The Tradition: An American Kitchen – a casual, modern American dining experience.

  • HeyDey Social Club – a cocktail café and social bar with innovative drinks and light bites.

  • Room service deliveries and banquet events.

• Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with TABC and food handler requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Server or in a hospitality role preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Positive attitude, team player, and customer service-focused.

• Availability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Valid TABC and Food Handlers certifications required.
