Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the manager, this position is responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to all customers. The role involves maintaining clear communication and being available for consultations with both customers and practitioner sites. Additional responsibilities include supervising technical staff and ensuring the pharmacy adheres to best practices for 340B contract pharmacies. The pharmacist will also provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers of partner health facilities. Operational duties include overseeing technicians’ workflow, verifying their preparation and labeling of medications, and confirming order entries, charges, and inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.

  • Pharmacist registration in the state of employment.

  • Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • 340B experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Anticipated hourly rate: $49.40 – $70.60 per hour.

  • Bonus eligibility: No.

  • Benefits: Paid time off in accordance with applicable laws.
