We’re seeking a Retail Wine Sales Associate with strong people skills, a passion for wine and spirits, and a love for teamwork. This is an active, fast-paced role, especially on weekends, so energy and enthusiasm are key. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service with every interaction
- Build and maintain in-depth product knowledge to provide expert sales recommendations (we support continued wine & spirits education!)
- Participate in all daily store activities, including sales transactions, merchandising, and order fulfillment
- Act as a liaison for a specific product category, keeping it well-organized and stocked
- Write product reviews for K&L’s website, newsletter, and blog
- Attend staff education sessions and offsite industry events as needed
What You Bring
- 1-3 years of experience in retail or a customer-facing role
- Passion for wine and spirits (highly preferred)
- Positive, team-oriented attitude—no task is too big or small!
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for engaging with people
- Proficiency in Office 365 and comfort with POS and handheld technology
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and safely operate a hand truck
- Bachelor’s degree a plus
