About the Job:
As a Revenue Strategy Lead for New Product Initiatives (NPI), you will be instrumental in guiding the revenue recognition aspects of new product launches. This includes ensuring compliance with ASC 606, leading NPI meetings, advising business teams on revenue treatment, pricing, and billing models, and managing SOX requirements for products. You’ll need to thoroughly understand products, support internal inquiries, and contribute to special projects and presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead revenue strategy for new product launches, ensuring ASC 606 compliance and adherence to client policies.
- Lead NPI meetings, guiding teams on revenue recognition, pricing, and billing.
- Manage SOX controls and update product-related field values.
- Develop a deep understanding of products to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Address product-related inquiries from deal teams and revenue management.
- Contribute to special projects and assist in preparing presentations for leadership.
- Present information confidently and clearly.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the high-tech industry.
- Strong technical accounting skills with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
- Proven team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and possesses strong time management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage daily tasks independently and drive NPIs to completion.
