Position Summary

We are seeking a Revenue Cycle Collections Specialist to manage account collections, improve processes, and support the integrity of our billing and revenue systems.
Key Responsibilities

Collect outstanding balances from commercial insurance and self-pay accounts

Maintain and reconcile aged accounts receivable

Monitor and document claim status using phone, online portals, and internal systems

Identify account adjustments and recommend write-offs or escalations

Ensure proper application of credit policies from admission to resolution

Coordinate with outside collection agencies and represent Rosecrance in court if needed

Maintain PCI compliance and participate in required security trainings

Contribute to revenue cycle improvement by educating internal teams and submitting reports
Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required

1–2 years of healthcare claims processing or collections experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Windows-based systems

Strong organizational skills and accurate documentation ability
