Job Summary

We are looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist (Team Lead) to oversee the daily workflow of a revenue cycle operations team. This position is instrumental in supporting R1’s performance goals, enhancing productivity, and resolving client-related issues with urgency and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support day-to-day operations of the assigned team.

• Prepare and deliver detailed productivity reports (daily/weekly/monthly).

• Troubleshoot client issues and escalate root causes appropriately.

• Identify workflow gaps and recommend operational improvements.

• Provide training to global partners on updated processes.

• Support departmental initiatives and perform other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-volume environments.

• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

• Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.

• Consistently meets performance standards.

• Positive, professional attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree.

• Prior experience in revenue cycle operations or call center environment.

• Familiarity with medical terminology.

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Ability to use computers, phones, and office equipment.

• Extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking.

• Clear verbal communication in clinical or administrative settings.

• Manual dexterity for typing, handling documents, and equipment.

• May require lifting or moving items over 5 lbs occasionally.
