CorroHealth is seeking a skilled DRG Revenue Integrity Auditor to join our team and support clients in achieving accurate, compliant medical coding and reimbursement. As a DRG Revenue Integrity Auditor, you will conduct inpatient chart reviews, validate coding accuracy, and ensure the patient’s true clinical picture is properly reflected in assigned codes. You’ll apply ICD-10-CM/PCS coding, official guidelines, and best practices to improve compliance, efficiency, and quality across the reimbursement cycle. Key Responsibilities of a DRG Revenue Integrity Auditor
As a DRG Revenue Integrity Auditor, you will:

Validate ICD-10-CM/PCS code sequencing, POA status, SOI, ROM, HCC, and other coding factors.

Conduct inpatient chart reviews in compliance with CMS, AHIMA, and ACDIS standards.

Identify query opportunities and ensure clinically supported coding.

Stay current with coding guidelines, coding clinics, and payer policies.

Provide feedback, reporting, and data analysis to clients and internal teams.

Support training efforts and mentor new hires when needed.

Safeguard patient privacy and uphold AHIMA’s Standards of Ethical Coding.
Qualifications for a DRG Revenue Integrity Auditor
To qualify as a DRG Revenue Integrity Auditor, candidates must have:

Current CCS certification (required).

5+ years’ experience in an acute care setting or with a third-party vendor as a DRG Auditor or CDS.

Strong knowledge of CDI, coding, reimbursement, and compliance.

Experience with EMR systems and telecommuting environments.

Analytical, detail-oriented skills with the ability to manage multiple clients.

Preferred: Prior experience as a CDI/Coding Auditor.

Work Environment & Expectations
Daily Responsibilities
As a DRG Revenue Integrity Auditor, you’ll work primarily at a computer with frequent chart reviews, client communication, and data analysis. Productivity and quality metrics must be met consistently.
