Role Overview:
As a Reverse Engineer in Software Development at Aurex, you will develop advanced tools for system analysis, perform software testing, and apply AI/ML techniques to accelerate reverse-engineering processes. Your work will directly contribute to defense innovation and battlefield readiness.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop utility tools for system analysis, including emulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and automated binary analysis

Interface with embedded hardware to streamline data collection

Assist in software analysis, test planning, and post-test evaluation

Identify and implement AI/ML solutions for reverse engineering

Support modeling, simulation, and technology comparisons against U.S. systems

Prepare technical documentation and final reports

Contribute to daily lab operations and team projects
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (ABET-accredited) in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar, plus 3 years of experience

Proficiency in C/C++ (required); 8086 Assembly, Qt/Visual Studio, Matlab/Octave, Python (desired)

OS experience: Windows, Linux, Embedded OS

Embedded development: PIC, ARM

Reverse Engineering: IDA Pro (strongly desired), Ghidra, WinHex

Documentation: LaTeX (preferred), Markdown, MediaWiki

AI/ML: Ollama, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Structured Prompt Generation
