We are seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Nursing Director to lead an acute and critical care nursing team. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, driving quality improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for patient-centered care, and a proven ability to enhance healthcare outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for acute and critical care nursing services.
- Ensure high-quality patient care by implementing best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and execute quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff, promoting professional growth and excellence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care coordination.
- Monitor and manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of managerial experience in acute/critical care.
- Active RN licensure in North Carolina or Multistate Compact License.
- Proven ability to drive quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of excellence in patient care.
