Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and continuously evaluating care.

Use your nursing knowledge and experience to provide patient care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.

Collaborate with the nursing team to enhance the quality of care, improve the patient experience, and contribute to cost reduction efforts.

Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and the broader healthcare team.

Advocate for ethical, holistic care, ensuring the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or obtained within five years from the initial date of hire); RNs with 15+ years of experience or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in lieu of this requirement.

Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL).

Current BLS Certification required.

ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification as required by the facility or department.

Specialty area certification preferred.

One year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
