About the Role
As a Robotics Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of Coco’s autonomy development—designing and deploying the systems that allow our robots to safely and efficiently navigate city streets. You’ll work across the robotics stack, from real-time perception and localization to mapping and path planning.

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and maintain ROS-based robotics systems for real-time autonomous operation.

Build software for perception, localization, mapping, and navigation.

Integrate and process data from LiDAR, GPS, cameras, IMUs, and other onboard sensors.

Debug complex robotic behavior in both simulation and field deployments.

Collaborate closely with the hardware, autonomy, and teleops teams to deliver reliable, production-grade systems.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of hands-on experience developing robotics software.

Strong proficiency in ROS and deep understanding of robot navigation systems.

Proficient in C++ and Python.

Experience working with real-time sensor data and multi-sensor fusion (LiDAR, GPS, IMU).
Preferred Qualifications

Background in autonomous vehicles or mobile robotic platforms.

Familiarity with SLAM, motion planning, and behavior trees.

Experience with camera perception, visual odometry, or related CV tools.

Exposure to field testing and deployment in live environments.
