The Role
Are you a security professional who can take responsibility for the safety and security of our property, team members and guests and build valuable stakeholder relationships while always maintaining a clear focus on delivering exceptional customer service? Carrying out floor walks, investigating, documenting and dealing with any queries or incidents, your calm and professional manner will help ensure the very best of guest experiences.
What we look for
- Credible – a trusted advisor to the hotel community
- Calm – copes well under pressure and remains level-headed when dealing with incidents
- Technical – strong links to the police and enforcement agencies to provide insight and ensure best-practise in handling security-related incidents
- Influencer – able to influence hotel teams at all levels
- Strong communicator – skills both written and verbal, externally and internally
- Experienced in understanding resource requirements with respect to Security teams
- Membership of one or more of following associations: The Institute of Hotel Security Management, The Security Institute or ASIS International Relevant Security Management Degree / Certification: MSc Security and Risk Management, CPP Certified Protection Professional, Recognised licence or certification from SIA – Security Industry Association
- Demonstrable and proven experience of working in a supervisory role in large scale property portfolios.
