Sales Account Executive – Redding, CA

Job Summary

As a UPS Account Executive, you will manage a portfolio of B2B and B2C accounts within a designated territory. Your mission is to drive profitable revenue growth through new customer acquisition and retention of existing accounts. You’ll serve as a trusted logistics partner, analyzing clients’ supply chain needs and providing tailored UPS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a portfolio of UPS customers in assigned territories.

• Identify and convert new sales opportunities to meet or exceed revenue goals.

• Retain and expand existing business by promoting additional products and services.

• Monitor and analyze sales performance and customer account statistics.

• Prepare pricing proposals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance reports.

• Build relationships with key decision-makers to gain insights into client business operations.

• Travel within the assigned territory, primarily around Redding, CA, with occasional trips to Chico, Eureka/Arcata, Red Bluff, Los Molinos, and Anderson, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent (preferred).

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) or Business-to-Consumer (B2C) sales.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong understanding of UPS services, customer technology solutions, and industry trends.

• Basic knowledge of supply chain concepts and competitor activity.

• Demonstrated negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Willingness to travel as required by the territory.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Redding, CA area if relocation assistance is not provided.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $61,320 – $105,960 per year (based on experience, skills, and location)

• Incentives: Eligible for Sales Incentive Plan and Annual Management Incentive Plan (performance-based)
