Job Overview

Are you highly organised, accurate, and enthusiastic about supporting a busy and dynamic office environment? We are seeking a Data Entry & Office Support Assistant to join our friendly, hard-working team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys multitasking, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is eager to contribute to multiple departments.

You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks – from high-volume data entry to supporting sales and administrative functions – meaning no two days are the same. We value team players who bring a flexible attitude and a willingness to learn, especially in areas like glass optimisation, where full training will be provided.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • High-Volume Order Entry: Accurately and efficiently input a large number of customer orders into our systems.

  • Checking Orders: Review and verify all order details to ensure accuracy before processing.

  • Sales Support: Assist with sales-related tasks such as speaking with customers, answering basic queries, and providing product information when required.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments including Sales, Estimating, and Customer Service to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Administrative Duties: Respond to emails, answer incoming phone calls, manage filing, and complete other general office tasks as required.

  • Glass Optimisation: While previous experience is helpful, it’s not required – training will be given. A focused and detail-oriented mindset is more important.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to get involved in different aspects of the business. You should be:

  • Computer Confident: Comfortable using digital systems and capable of quick and accurate data entry.

  • Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for catching small errors and ensuring every order is correct.

  • Fast-Paced and Adaptable: Able to manage multiple tasks and switch between them efficiently.

  • Reliable Team Player: Willing to collaborate with colleagues and jump in to help wherever needed.

  • Eager to Learn: Especially in specialist areas like glass optimisation, where training is provided.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

  • Experience: 1 year in an office, admin, or customer support role (preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Good organisational skills and time management

Benefits:

  • Competitive starting salary (£23,500+ depending on experience)

  • Company pension scheme

  • Free on-site parking

  • Full training provided for new skills

  • Friendly and supportive work culture

  • Opportunities to grow and take on new responsibilities over time

Schedule:
