About the Role
Are you a friendly, helpful person who enjoys meeting new people and going the extra mile for customers? We’re looking for Customer Assistants to join our Service departments — including checkouts, self-serve, and kiosks — to help deliver an outstanding shopping experience every day.
This is a customer-facing role where you’ll serve and assist shoppers, ensuring their visit to Morrisons is enjoyable, efficient, and memorable. You’ll also be trained across other areas of the store — including replenishment and Market Street — so flexibility is key.
Key Responsibilities

Serve customers at tills, self-checkouts, and kiosks with warmth and efficiency

Provide helpful and friendly service, resolving queries where needed

Keep service areas clean, stocked, and well-organised

Support across departments based on store needs

Maintain a high standard of Health & Safety and food hygiene
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be someone who:

Has a helpful, positive, and friendly attitude

Enjoys being active and working in a busy, customer-facing environment

Uses initiative to solve problems and assist shoppers

Is comfortable using a range of in-store equipment (training provided)

Can work flexible shifts, including weekends
Note: All applicants must be over school leaving age. Some roles require candidates to be 18+ due to health and safety regulations.
