About the Role
As a Sales Data Analyst at Gold Medal Bakery, you will play a critical role in transforming raw sales data into actionable insights. You’ll analyze sales order data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and support strategies that drive revenue growth, forecasting, and planning.
This role offers the best of both worlds: consistency in your core responsibilities and variety through new projects and challenges. You’ll also enjoy creative freedom to design your own dashboards and visualizations, with your ideas and input highly valued.
Location On-site at our Fall River, MA facility. Hybrid or remote options may be available after a successful 90-day review.
Responsibilities

Create clear, engaging dashboards and reports that turn complex data into actionable insights.

Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

Track and analyze KPIs, sales order performance, and other key metrics using Excel and BI tools.

Evaluate implemented strategies and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.

Support development and enhancement of reporting tools to improve decision-making.

Conduct competitive sales analysis and assess private label program performance.

Perform category sales management analysis to evaluate profitability.

Serve as backup to Sales Ordering Analyst, ensuring high-level order counseling and accuracy.

Review order algorithms, verify data inputs, and resolve customer inquiries professionally and on time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

4+ years of experience in a similar role with strong analytical background.

Experience with SAP or similar systems highly desirable.

Advanced MS Excel skills (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) required.

Manufacturing or food manufacturing experience preferred.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and meet deadlines under pressure.

Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
