WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Sales Development Manager is responsible for supporting the development of sales through strategic partners across the UK & Ireland. The Sales Development Manager role complements the End Customer program, with focus on demand creation, assuming responsibility for the identification of new end customer accounts, investigating the mutual business fit and potential for long term revenue to Axis. These target accounts will be identified by conducting a deep analysis of the local market and the most prominent segments, linked to for ex governmental spend, new legislations and/or new regulations.
This position will require a unique blend of market understanding, commercial acumen, industry competence and technical skills. The ability to understand and then influence the customer journey, aligned to Axis long term strategic priorities, will be a key objective. Education is a cornerstone of the Axis business, and you will be required to create awareness and education of Axis solutions for individuals and business units both internally within regional/EMEA/global level and externally across relevant partner networks.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build a pipeline of new potential customer accounts, across different segments
- Identifying, nurturing, and developing accounts up to a transactional relationship when they are handed over to the KAM End Customer organisation.
- Develop and deliver a UK&I strategy for positioning Axis as the #1 choice.
- Work closely with our global sales organization and across other Axis sales regions to develop best practices and strategic alignment.
- Identifying, nurturing, and developing new relationships with individuals and teams across both existing and new technical and commercial partners.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of Axis event strategy for digital transformation.
- Provide awareness and education through webinars, events, Axis Experience Centre tours and promote the values of the Axis brand.
- Identifying key industry forums and being a prominent thought leader in them.
