Job Summary
Supermicro is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating contact with potential new customers and scheduling Discovery calls for the Business Development team. Success in this position requires experience in outbound prospecting, a strategic approach to identifying customer pain points, and the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives. Your goal will be to build initial relationships, understand prospect needs, and hand off qualified leads for further engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively reach out to new prospects via cold calls, emails, and social platforms

Identify client needs and recommend suitable Supermicro products or services

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with potential customers

Qualify leads and engage net new accounts to drive pipeline development

Consistently meet or exceed daily activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings set)
Qualifications

1+ years of SDR or outbound sales experience, preferably targeting enterprise clients

Experience with outbound prospecting strategies, including multichannel outreach (email, cold calling, LinkedIn, social media)

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred)

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas

Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales cadence tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft)

Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and sales performance metrics

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident engaging with technical and executive-level stakeholders

Data-driven mindset with the ability to craft compelling outreach based on insights

High-energy attitude and a commitment to overachieving performance targets
