The Role

As part of our dynamic Sales team—instrumental in driving over 30% year-over-year growth and millions in annual revenue—we are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support the rapid expansion of our Virtual Data Room (VDR) business in the U.S. market. This position is based in the New York metropolitan area and offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to Ideals’ U.S. growth while advancing your career in B2B tech sales.

In this role, you’ll target key decision-makers across U.S. accounts to support revenue generation. We’re looking for a fast learner with strong sales, outreach, and negotiation capabilities who can coordinate prospecting efforts and schedule demos for our Field Sales team. This is a launchpad role for those aiming to build a successful sales career in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary Range: $66,000 – $74,000

  • Compensation Structure: 70% base + 30% performance-based variable pay


What You’ll Do

  • Conduct B2B prospecting through account mapping, cold calls, emails, and personalized outreach using CRM tools

  • Research customer personas to tailor initial outreach strategies

  • Schedule qualified product demos for the Field Sales team

  • Build and maintain strong engagement with prospective clients

  • Collect and organize prospect feedback during the qualification process

  • Support sales-related marketing initiatives including events and M&A Community content distribution


What You Bring

  • 1+ years of outbound B2B sales experience in a SaaS environment

  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Skilled in objection handling, navigating gatekeepers, and establishing quick rapport

  • Understanding of financial industry trends and key market players

  • Adaptable and receptive to feedback with a growth mindset

  • Bachelor’s degree required
