Position Summary
The Senior Sales Professional will work with the marketing team to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities. This role focuses on three key areas: managing marketing-generated leads, maintaining relationships with current and past clients, and developing long-term relationships with target accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing to manage leads and identify new opportunities.
- Qualify prospects through networking and industry events.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts.
- Develop customized proposals
- Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
- Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with engineering for proposal alignment.
- Manage CRM activities and deliver persuasive presentations.
- Maintain engagement with clients to drive repeat business and address concerns.
- Act as a trusted advisor and monitor project progress.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of sales experience in the chemical or industrial sectors, with a proven ability to close high-value projects.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel in the Northeast.
Compensation And Benefits
Salary: $125k to $150k + commission.
