Key Responsibilities
As the Business Development Manager, you will:

Lead regional growth efforts by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the HVAC and plumbing sectors

Develop and nurture relationships with both new and existing commercial clients across the Virginia Beach area
-
Create and negotiate service agreements for preventive maintenance, system retrofits, and equipment replacements
-
Prepare detailed proposals, including capital expenditure and replacement budgets, tailored to each client’s needs
-
Implement strategic sales tactics such as networking, lead tracking, cold calling, and referral generation to build a strong pipeline
-
Remain up-to-date on emerging technologies, market trends, and competitor offerings in the mechanical services industry
-
Consistently achieve or exceed established sales and profit margin targets
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will bring:

Proven success in commercial HVAC or plumbing sales

In-depth understanding of commercial mechanical systems is strongly preferred

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft and present compelling proposals

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM tools to manage leads and pipeline activity

A high level of self-motivation, entrepreneurial spirit, and a collaborative approach to working with internal teams

A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
