Position Summary:
M Science is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to identify new business opportunities, cultivate leads, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic and analytical thinker with a proven ability to communicate value to potential clients, foster strong partnerships, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. The ideal candidate is experienced in business development and vendor relationship management, with a solid foundation in data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client outcomes and market trends to propose new services and product enhancements

  • Continuously identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities to maintain a strong sales pipeline

  • Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, email campaigns, and in-person engagement

  • Utilize Challenger Sales methodology and/or Salesforce to support sales effectiveness

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, building on a solid baseline

  • Establish and grow relationships with data partners by leveraging industry knowledge and networks

  • Manage and nurture existing partner relationships to ensure long-term success

  • Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and expos to build connections and source potential partners

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in one or more of the following areas:

    • Management or strategy consulting at a top-tier firm

    • Business development in market research

    • Sales or BD at a software or data-focused start-up

  • Strong prospecting and lead generation abilities

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex value propositions effectively

  • Experience in vendor management and strategic relationship building

  • Demonstrated creativity in using data to solve problems and drive business results

  • Background in product development or business planning is a plus
