Responsibilities

  • Utilize the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to assess client needs and present tailored Paychex solutions to key stakeholders and decision-makers, whether through in-person meetings or virtual interactions, to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Schedule appointments and engage with both prospective and existing referral sources to generate qualified leads.
  • Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and referral partners through outbound calls, direct mail campaigns, seminars, client visits, and other localized marketing initiatives as directed by Sales leadership.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend appropriate products and services, referring clients to additional resources or teams when necessary.
  • Accurately complete and submit new business documentation, expense reports, and weekly activity reports in accordance with deadlines established by Sales management.
  • Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Paychex in a professional and positive manner when interacting with clients and the community.
  • May require occasional travel outside the assigned territory to attend conferences, training programs, or regional meetings.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales or marketing experience
