Responsibilities
-
Execute Paychex’s Go-to-Market Sales Strategy by identifying client needs and presenting tailored solutions to key stakeholders—whether through in-person meetings or virtual engagements—to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.

Proactively schedule meetings and cultivate relationships with current and prospective referral sources to generate qualified leads.

Source new clients and referral opportunities through cold calling, direct mail, client visits, seminars, and other local marketing initiatives directed by Sales leadership.

Assess client goals and challenges, match them with the most appropriate Paychex solutions, and collaborate with internal partners when specialized expertise is required.

Accurately complete and submit new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity logs within the deadlines established by Sales management.

Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving any concerns or issues.

Represent Paychex with professionalism and a positive attitude in all client and community interactions.

Travel may be required outside of the assigned territory for conferences, training sessions, or regional sales meetings.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED – Required

Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant sales or marketing role
Compensation
In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the typical total compensation for this role ranges from $65,000 to $125,000, which includes base salary and commissions. This range does not reflect additional benefits or total rewards Paychex offers.
