Sales Executive – Field-Based
Position Overview
As a Sales Executive, you will focus on acquiring new customers, specifically targeting independent restaurants, small chains, and businesses within the hospitality industry across your designated territory. This is a field-based role with an emphasis on prospecting and closing new business. You’ll spend the majority of your time on the road engaging with prospective clients—this role does not include account management. Success in this position requires a competitive drive, goal-focused mindset, and a willingness to embrace coaching and feedback for continuous improvement.
Location & Territory
This role covers the Western and Central New York region, spanning from Buffalo to Rochester and Syracuse. The ideal candidate is based in or near Rochester or Syracuse, NY. Overnight travel is limited.
Compensation

Base salary range: $65,000 to $85,000 annually

Uncapped commission: At-target earnings range from $98,000 to $128,000+ depending on performance and experience
Note: Final base pay is determined by location, experience, and market conditions.
Key Responsibilities

Daily Prospecting: Conduct in-person sales activities to generate new leads and secure business.

Sales Performance: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas.

Territory Development: Independently and collaboratively develop sales strategies to grow new business.

Product Expertise: Continuously expand your knowledge of our offerings and industry trends through ongoing learning and training.

Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of activities, leads, and opportunities using our CRM system.

Sales Tools Utilization: Use company sales tools, presentations, pricing models, and the Sales Playbook to effectively close deals.
Minimum Qualifications

Strong consultative selling abilities and problem-solving mindset

Demonstrated persistence and motivation to achieve sales targets

Proven experience with cold calling and in-person sales outreach

Effective communicator across clients and internal teams

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance; ability to travel daily throughout the region with occasional overnight stays
Preferred Qualifications

Proven success in field sales, especially in prospecting and closing new accounts

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field

Prior experience selling to restaurants or hospitality clients is a strong advantage
