Responsibilities

Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies to secure group and event business.

Target shoulder and off-peak groups to maximize occupancy.

Convert inquiries into sales through quick response, persuasive sales skills, and excellent client service.

Represent the lodge at trade and travel shows to promote group sales.

Manage accounts with CRM systems, track pipelines, and maintain client relationships.

Negotiate contracts, including pricing for meeting rooms and audio-visual services.

Prepare detailed proposals, sales materials, and contracts.

Deliver on assigned group room and catering sales goals.

Oversee Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), client resumes, and rooming lists to ensure flawless execution.

Address and resolve client complaints, billing issues, or discrepancies.

Collaborate with operations to ensure group needs are met from booking through departure.

Submit weekly sales activity and pipeline reports.

Prepare and update quarterly sales action plans.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, hotel management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 4 years of sales experience in hospitality, events, or conference sales.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle checks.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $55,000
-
Bonus Eligible position.
