General Summary & Scope
The Sales Manager (SM) plays a pivotal role in leading, inspiring, and developing a high-performing team that delivers consistent sales growth across all categories. You’ll manage Beauty Advisors, Prestige Beauty Advisors, and Lead Cashiers, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional guest service, and strong business results. The SM is accountable for achieving sales targets, maintaining Net Promoter Scores (NPS), hosting engaging in-store events, and upholding Ulta Beauty’s brand standards.
This leadership position requires a passion for beauty, a drive for results, the ability to mentor and develop talent, and strong knowledge of product trends and guest engagement.

Drive top-line sales growth, guest loyalty, and service excellence.

Job Qualifications
Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience

2–3+ years of retail management or equivalent leadership experience.

Strong background in financial, inventory, and people management.

Proven ability to drive sales, achieve operational excellence, and deliver guest satisfaction.
Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and Apple devices.
