Role Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, manage sales operations, and align our market strategies with corporate objectives. This senior-level role requires oversight of multiple sales channels, leadership of a high-performing team, and expertise in Salesforce and Summit Quote to optimize pipeline management, forecasting, and estimating.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales organization and oversee multiple sales channels

  • Drive annual sales goals aligned with corporate objectives

  • Design and implement commission plans to motivate performance

  • Manage sales and marketing budgets (trade shows, marketing, website, etc.)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers

  • Develop and monitor key sales metrics, reports, and KPIs

  • Conduct contract review, deal negotiation, and ensure favorable terms

  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing sales leaders

  • Champion Salesforce and Summit Quote usage for pipeline visibility, accurate forecasting, and consistent estimating

  • Communicate strategically with regional and branch leadership

  • Oversee daily operations while traveling up to 50%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or MBA preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered

  • 10+ years of senior-level sales management experience, preferably in fire protection with service and construction revenue streams

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or NICET Level III/IV certification preferred

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and retain a diverse sales team

  • Demonstrated success in sales strategy, budgeting, and performance management

  • Proficient with Salesforce, Summit Quote, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, lift up to 20 lbs, and travel frequently

  • Work primarily in office, remote, and field environments

  • Occasional use of personal protective equipment as required
