We are seeking a talented Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to drive sales, build strong customer relationships, and grow business across a designated U.S. territory—all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve market share growth and profitable results.

Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to shape effective territory plans.

Engage in prospecting, lead generation, networking, and building a strong sales pipeline.

Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with prospective clients.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.

Address customer inquiries proactively to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Collaborate with marketing, product development, and support teams to align strategies and meet customer expectations.

Prepare sales reports, forecasts, funnel reviews, and performance metrics for management.

Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Manage resources effectively to maximize results within the territory.

Plan travel schedules to ensure optimal customer coverage.

Identify new market opportunities and potential customer segments.

Perform other duties as assigned to support business goals.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 3–5 years of sales experience.

Maintain a valid driver’s license.

Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
-
Knowledge of wholesale gas and welding distribution; ESAB product knowledge preferred.

Strong financial acumen, CRM experience, and familiarity with sales analytics.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Demonstrated negotiation, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

Self-motivated, able to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Positive, customer-centric approach and ability to build long-term relationships.

Adaptable to fast-paced environments and evolving technology/processes.
Working Conditions
-
Remain stationary ~50% of the time; additional physical activity may include walking, stooping, and stair navigation.

Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when visiting manufacturing or plant locations.

Frequent use of computers, tablets, phones, and office machinery.
-
Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.; push/pull items up to 200 lbs. using safety tools.

May be exposed to varying weather conditions during travel.
