Job Summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced Sales Director to drive new business development and expand enterprise account pipelines within the Communications, Media, and Entertainment (CME) space. The ideal candidate is a proactive hunter with expertise in crafting innovative technology solutions, leveraging Infosys’ global capabilities, and building strong C-level relationships to grow revenue and position Infosys as a trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new deals within the CME industry.

  • Act as the face of Infosys, establishing thought leadership and market presence.

  • Develop innovative platform solutions tailored to CME enterprises using Infosys’ technology ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with project teams to create client-specific value propositions.

  • Lead proposal creation, presentations, and negotiations with senior executives.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited institution, or 3 years of progressive experience per year of education.

  • 12+ years of sales experience in the service industry, with 10+ years in IT services business development.

  • Proven experience managing large deals and understanding the Global Delivery Model (offshore/outsourcing).

  • Strong track record of building relationships with CXOs and senior stakeholders.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • History of exceeding sales targets and quotas.

  • Experience in software contract negotiations, competitor analysis, and SWAT analysis.

  • Well-networked within the IT services industry and CME vertical.

  • Ability to define and deliver innovative, high-impact solutions in complex environments.

  • Expertise in identifying RFPs and upcoming deals through industry networking.
