Position Summary 
As a Sales Representative at Kimball Midwest, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with both existing and potential customers, promoting our full line of products and services, and driving sales within your assigned territory.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Uncapped earning potential through commission

  • First-year compensation ranging from $55,000 to $95,000 (base salary + performance bonuses)

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with customers in your territory. Understand their unique business needs and offer customized solutions. At Kimball Midwest, people are our priority—whether they’re customers or team members.

  • Prospecting & Cold Calling: Proactively identify and engage potential customers to expand your book of business. We believe in consistent growth through new business development.

  • Territory Planning: Strategically organize your weekly schedule to optimize customer visits and territory growth. Our bottom-up approach to planning ensures long-term success.

  • Product Demonstrations: Showcase the value, performance, and quality of our American-made products to potential buyers.

  • Sales Performance: Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets using proven sales methodologies and techniques gained through our extensive training programs. We aim to double our company sales every five years.

  • Activity Reporting: Accurately record all sales activities and customer interactions in our systems, and communicate cost-savings and value-added insights to clients.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory to meet customers and attend meetings, with valid insurance coverage as required

  • Must have a personal device that complies with our Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) policy

  • Willingness to sign an Employment Agreement and any required exhibits
