Your Role: As a Satellite Network Systems Engineer, you will be crucial in the qualification and integration of ground segment equipment with our cutting-edge satellite payload, supporting global commercial and government customers. This involves understanding diverse use cases and ensuring we meet customer SLAs with high-quality service.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the integration and qualification of ground segment systems with satellite equipment.
- Assist in deploying ground segment systems and integrating them with customer networks.
- Analyze customer requirements and design maintainable, scalable, and secure network solutions.
- Create test plans and procedures and set up lab environments for ground segment equipment testing.
- Participate in daily operations, perform system analysis, maintenance, and complex network troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support to manage customer networks, install, configure, and maintain network services and equipment.
- Document system issues and resolutions for future reference.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+).
- 3+ years of experience in network design and implementation (enterprise LAN/WAN).
- Working knowledge of VLANs, GRE, GTP, IPv4/IPv6, ICMP, DHCP, NAT, and SNMP.
- Hands-on experience with carrier-grade networking equipment.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (BGP, OSPF).
- Experience with network security practices, tools, and protocols.
- Knowledge of virtualization and experience with Linux servers and VM infrastructure (KVM or similar).
- Knowledge or practical experience with satellite network hub systems and operations.
- Practical experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper routers and switches.
- Knowledge of RF/SATCOM systems.
