The Opportunity
A large and well-organised 3-form-entry primary school in Camden is seeking an experienced School Administration Officer to join their team. Initially offered on a temporary contract, this role is intended to become permanent for the right candidate.
This is a full-time, front-office position supporting the School Business Manager and senior leadership in managing the day-to-day operations of the school’s administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
As the School Administration Officer, your duties will cover the following areas:

Admissions – handling applications and pupil records

Pupil attendance – monitoring daily attendance and punctuality

Staff attendance – managing leave and absence tracking
-
Finance – supporting with orders, invoices, and budget monitoring

Data Management – ensuring accurate pupil and staff data systems

Orders & Supplies – procurement and stock management
-
General Administration – supporting leadership with a variety of tasks
About You
To be considered for this role, you must:

Have at least 1 year of experience working in a UK school office

Be highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
-
Have a calm, friendly, and professional approach to your work

Be confident using school management systems (e.g., SIMS/Arbor)

Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
