Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide smooth, efficient, and professional administrative support to the school

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers with a warm and professional reception

  • Maintain and manage the school’s MIS system and ensure data accuracy

  • Monitor and manage attendance and punctuality records

  • Oversee admissions procedures, including student induction paperwork and record transfers

  • Take accurate minutes for governance and SLT meetings

  • Collaborate with the admin team to meet deadlines and support wider school functions

  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding procedures and confidentiality protocols

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in school administration or a similar educational setting

  • Excellent organisation, time management, and communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Familiarity with MIS systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, etc.)

  • Understanding of safeguarding policies and protocols

  • Comfortable handling attendance and admissions processes

  • Experience working with or understanding children with Autism and sensory needs

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

  • Confidence in minute-taking and working with confidential information
